TOP 10 Walt Disney World Resorts for 2025

There is A LOT going on at Walt Disney World Resorts next year from construction, refurbishments, pool closures and more. These are the top 8 resorts to consider for your 2025 vacation next year because so far, they are free from disruptions!

All-Star Music & Sports

These All-Star Resorts are your best bet because All-Star Movies is having a pool refurbishment from January to April 2025. These are value resorts and have the least expensive lodging options on Walt Disney World property. You also have the option to stay in an All-Star Music suite that sleeps up to 6 adults and 1 infant.

Art of Animation & Caribbean Beach

These are great options for your next Disney trip along the Skyliner route. With easy acess to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and many fantastic dining options, these are amazing resorts at a relatively inexpensive price. Pop Century will be going through room refurbishments during 2025. Be aware that the Skyliner is not operational for about two weeks in January so maybe avoid these resorts in January 2025.

Coronado Springs

Coronado Springs is an excellent option for your next Disney World vacation if you want a disruption-free vacation. Gran Destino Tower debuted in summer 2019, so all of the tower rooms are 5 years old. There are plenty of dining options and amenities at this resort.

Contemporary

This Magic Kingdom resort is your only option from having construction, refurbishments, or closures. You have easy access to the monorail that takes you to and from Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. It is also the closest resort to Magic Kingdom, so you are able to walk right to the park in just a few minutes. Polynesian Village will still have construction and refurbishments at the resort until 2026. Grand Floridian still has renovations planned into the future, and there is no word when these will FINALLY be complete. Wilderness Lodge will also have some exterior refurbishments with an unknown end date, and Fort Wilderness is still converting their original log cabins into Disney Vacation Club cabins.

Boardwalk Inn & Villas

If you want to stay along Crescent Lake with easy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, then Boardwalk Inn is the place to stay! Rooms at Boardwalk Inn were just renovated this past year, so you will have some nice updated rooms! Stormalong Bay (the mini water park) at Yacht & Beach Club will be refurbished from January to June 2025, which is a main attraction for this resort.

You can also stay in one of the Disney Vacation Club studios or villas here. I recommend renting points through a trusted third party such as DVC Rental Store, David's Vacation Club, or DVC Advantages. The savings are amazing!

Riviera Resort

The Riviera is also an excellent option along the Skyliner route. The building opened December 2019 so all rooms are only 5 years old and the dining options are excellent. It also has a very peaceful and relaxing vibe. Remember that the Skyliner has routine maintenance for about two weeks every January. Riviera Resort is also a Disney Vacation Club resort.

Old Key West & Saratoga Springs Resorts

If you want to stay near Disney Springs, then these two resorts are perfect options. Both resorts are exclusively Disney Vacation Club. They also have peaceful environments, and you have all the dining and shopping just a boat ride away. Both Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside resorts are going through room refurbishments in 2025.
